Claire Schalin

Programs Director, Co-Founder

Claire Schalin is the Co-Founder and Programs Director for Survivor2Leader. She is passionate about human rights and social justice. This passion led her to law school where she pursued her interests in social justice, anti-trafficking, criminal law, international law, asylum law, fair trade practices, and more. She loves her work supporting survivors and is committed to fighting and ending human trafficking. Claire holds a bachelor’s degree from Point Loma Nazarene University and a Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law.


Claire was born and raised in San Diego but is often found traveling the world before returning home to her family and friends. When she is home, she enjoys hiking, swimming in the ocean, and playing ultimate frisbee. She credits her determination and drive for social justice to her faith which inspires her and her family who keeps her grounded.
