Jim Carson has served children and young adults who have been sex-trafficked for over 25 years. He is a leader in the anti-trafficking field and has created many programs that provide services for victims and survivors. From 1992 to 2018 when he retired, Jim worked at Covenant House in LA, Crittenton Children's Services in Fullerton, and the Orangewood Foundation in Santa Ana. He gives educational presentations throughout the state of California, trains service providers and front line workers on trafficking awareness, has been on anti-trafficking commissions and task forces, and for over two decades, Jim’s calling has been to help victims when they escape from the life of being sex-trafficked.
Jim was a professional coach, promoter, agent, and was the founder and CEO of a successful business, Sports Promotions, for 18 years. He owned a home in Irvine where his son graduated from Irvine High School before attending Orange Coast College and graduating from the University of California, Berkeley. When his son left for Berkeley, Jim sold his house, closed his business and dedicated the rest of his life to serving at risk children and young adults in our community which he has done 24/7 for the last 28 years.
