Deputy Probation Officer, LA County
Terrika Woolfolk has been employed by the Los Angeles County probation department since 2006. In 2011, she became the first probation officer in the newly formed Child Trafficking Unit. For the past nine years, she has provided direct services to victims and families, as well as consultation to employees and community based organizations. She is a firm believer that everyone deserves a chance at healing, redemption, and restoration and she is dedicated to helping trafficking victims reach their maximum potential.
As a single mother to two beautiful daughters, she learned to take advantage of community resources and is grateful for all the help and support she received. She pays those blessings forward and gives back to the community by providing sex trafficking prevention workshops, volunteering in street outreaches, and empowering youth and young women to become the best version of themselves through counseling and coaching. Terrika is a native of Bakersfield, California and she currently resides in Long Beach, California. Terrika holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Science, a Masters degree in Public Administration, and is a current candidate for the Master of Art degree in Marital and Family Therapy. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising at the beach and spending time with her family.
