Dr. Vince Beresford is a hands-on nonprofit executive and corporate social responsibility professional with 25+ years' experience. As such, he has successfully led organizations in the philanthropy, academics, corporate, and faith communities. In 2016 Vince was recruited by the President of In-N-Out Burger to create the Slave 2 Nothing Foundation. In this role, Vince developed a team that traveled across the western US to evaluate nonprofit organizations and interview the leadership of those who are fighting against human trafficking and substance use disorders. His team assessed the effectiveness and evaluated best practices for trauma informed, victim-centered recovery and support programs. As a leader and self-sufficient innovator, (as well as being a former foster kid), Vince is comfortable in any role from an executive boardroom to the streets of skid row. Through passion, strategic foresight, drive, and determination, he has led nonprofit organizations addressing issues like suicide prevention, depression/mental health, civil rights, foster care, substance abuse, and human trafficking.

Vince holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Azusa Pacific University, a Doctorate degree from George Fox University in "Leadership in Emerging Culture," and he is a committed student of culture. Vince was a two-time Collegiate National Champion Pole Vaulter still hold the school records at his high school and university. But most importantly, Vince is married to his best friend, Julia, and has three amazing daughters. His life mission is to be a warrior for Christ that is a voice to the voiceless, serves the forgotten and under-served, and fights for justice but against evil. He believes that a warrior helps give faith to the faithless, provide hope for the hopeless, encourages those who need courage, helps people be remembered for the recovery (not their addiction or their past), and inspires and equips people to be more than they thought they could be.
